What is your favorite aspect of practicing architecture?
I enjoy getting into the dirty details. I have always been a problem-solver and treat the practice of architecture as just that: solving a problem. These problems vary in scale from “how would a building best be oriented on this site?” to “how will the roof-wall interaction stay water-tight while allowing movement?” The issues are as coarse or as fine as you allow yourself to see.
