Hayes Design Group Architects Welcomes Kayla Barko

Kayla Barko recently joined the Hayes Design Group Architects (HDG) as Associate Architect. In this position, Kayla assists the firm’s Project Architects with all aspects of projects from programming and design through construction administration. Kayla is a recent graduate with a Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Kent State University. Her past experience includes architectural internships at MS Consultants, Then Design Architecture, and most recently, a Graduate Teaching Assistant position at Kent State University.
“Kayla brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm to our firm, and hiring her continues a long-term relationship with Kent State University in providing quality employees to us,” commented Kevin Hayes, AIA, HDG Principal and Founder.
Kayla for her part is excited to have joined HDG. “I like that the office culture, and opportunities for personal and professional growth are priorities at HDG. Everyone in the office is helpful and gives value to each staff member for their specific abilities,” said Kayla.
HDG currently has 10 registered architects on staff and four associate architects.
