Carmichaels Area School District – Junior-Senior High School Phase 1 Complete, Phase 2 Continues, Phase 3 Begins
Phase 1 began in June 2014 with the addition of a new main entrance and cafeteria. The new cafeteria includes seating for 200, an outside patio, and a full-service kitchen. Other Phase 1 work included High School classroom renovations, new bus drop off, sidewalks, and other sight improvements, including a rain garden. Phase 1 was completed in September 2014.
Phase 2 began in June 2014 with renovations to the Junior High School including upgrades to the classrooms and the auditorium, as well as new band and chorus rooms, and a new multipurpose room. Phase 2 is expected to be complete by Mid-April 2015.
Phase 3 began in March 2015 and Phase 4 is expected to begin in April 2015. Phases 3 and 4 entail work in the Senior High School including renovations to classrooms, locker rooms, and library/media center.
